We got going around 9 am and took the tube over to Leicester Square and went to the 1/2 price show ticket place.  We got tickets for tonight for "Simply Heavenly"  "With a wife awaiting an expensive divorce and a girlfriend awaiting a ring.  He doesn't always make the best choice".  And for Friday night we got tickets for "Fame".  That should be fun!  We looked around the National Portrait Museum, Covent Garden market, Charing Cross Rail station and took the tube back to Glouchester Square.  There is a large supermarket there where we plan to buy the victuals for Thanksgiving dinner.   We passed and went into Baden Powell House.  ( Founder of the Boy Scouts).  BPH is a residence and conference center where scouts or scouters may stay for L38 per night in a double.  They also serve the public albeit at a higher rate.  It looked like an interesting place to stay in London for a short trip as it is 2 blocks from the Picadilly subway line which runs in from Heathrow Airport.

This afternoon we plan to make a serious visit to Harrods and Harvey Nichols unless the weather clears and we go to the London Eye.  The weather is not bad though, it is overcast and the temperature must be in the 50s.  We are planning to meet up with Laura at her museum - The Handel House near Oxford square at 4:15.  We'll see the museum, maybe grab a beer then head to the theatre.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and Laura has the day off.  I don't know if it is honor of her holiday or if she generally is off on Thursday.  We plan on taking the bus to pick up Laura then in to Westminster dock to catch the boat to Greenwich.   We'll have our picture taken standing in both hemispheres.  Wish I'd brought my GPS receiver.  I don't think it has seen + longitude before (maybe at the factory).  The British Maritime museum is at Greenwich - I expect it to be the most interesting site.
