Monterey Peninsula Trip - Traveling to San Francisco Nov. 5, 2005

We left Rochester at 11:30 Saturday morning.  Ms Wafler was kind enough to take us to the airport and take our picture as we left.  I had not been through the airport since they remodeled the security entrance.  It was nice, the stores and restaurants are now inside the security area and they have built a waiting area outside of security with a view of the approach end of runway 22.  The trip to Charlotte was nice and on time.  Charlotte has a very nice airport and there are a few things to do - restaurants, stores, etc.  Susan received an extended demonstration of a massage chair at the Brookstone Store.  We had lunch at Phillips Seafood, bought some books, then boarded the plane for San Francisco.  We were in the front thanks to some frequent flyer tickets but the service left quite a bit to be desired.  They were equally stingy with the food as they were inattentive.  As we sat in the departure lounge we overheard the flight attendants complaining about USAirways.  Their dissatisfaction certainly showed in the way that they did their jobs
